PROGRAMME

The Gesualdo Six present an exhibition of some of the finest vocal consort works from renaissance and modern-day composers. Works from the Golden Age of polyphony by Tallis and Gesualdo are juxtaposed with contemporary music by Judith Bingham, Alison Willis and Francis Poulenc, alongside a World Premiere by British composer, Joanna Ward. The ensemble have become renowned for their stagecraft, and the church of St Leonard’s in Hythe provides a unique canvas for this programme.
