Come & Sing with Rebecca Lodge

Come & Sing in this year’s festival with wonderful, local and hugely experienced singer and educator, Rebecca Lodge. Have a try at an opera chorus, sing a show-tune or two and have a crack at some choral music.

Selwyn College Choir/ Canterbury Cathedral Girls Choir

Paul Mealor’s The Farthest Shore headlines a fantastic concert featuring choirs from Cambridge, Canterbury and Romney Marsh children, accompanied by brass and organ. Music by Mendelssohn, Parry, Barber, Copland and Stanford make up a programme also including a Festival Commission by Daniel Saleeb.

Music of Our Time – St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street

Music of Our Time is JAM’s annual ‘curtain raiser’. It is a special concert as we go back to our roots; that of commissioning, enabling and performing new music. In this concert, we revisit three commissions and surround them with six pieces from our annual Call for Music.
