Congratulations to Corinna Lewis on winning JAM on the Marsh’s first Short Film Competition.
Earlier this year JAM on the Marsh, in partnership with Screen South and The Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme, launched a series of 6 masterclasses featuring various aspects of filmmaking, led by industry specialists. Following this, JAM launched a short film competition with Romney Marsh at the heart of every film.
I am a maker; with my art I tell stories. About the world I live in, about the things I see and feel, about issues that need addressing. Occasionally, a piece is just a piece, an observation, an attempt to represent. Most of my pieces however are a comment, an appeal.
– Corinna Lewis

Industry judges, Grahame Benson, Anthony Alleyne and Gabriella Apicella, praised Corinna Lewis for her imaginative storytelling in her competition-winning ‘The Stoneman’.
This is the first such collaboration for the festival, supporting creativity and opportunity, resulting in a cohort of filmmakers from across Kent and Sussex. Shortly, we will announce new masterclass and competition dates for 2021.
