Visual artist and musician Jillian Bain Christie leads two inspiring printmaking workshops, inviting participants to create their own print in response to Paul Mealor’s dramatic Symphony No.2, performed at this year’s festival.
Before the workshop, listen to the piece and find an image — a photograph, magazine clipping, or something online — that captures what the music evokes for you. Bring that image along, and in the session, you will use it as the basis to design and print your own watercolour monotype. Jillian will guide you through the watercolour monotype process. No prior experience necessary.
There will be no Festival Shuttle Bus for this event.
