Olivier Messiaen was one of the most important composers of the 20th century. He created some of the most ground-breaking music ever written, such as Quartet for the End of Time. This is an opportunity to learn about & hear some of Messiaen’s greatest works for his favourite instrument, the organ, presented by Tom Bell.
Works featured will include: Le Banquet Céleste, excerpts from L’Ascension and La Nativité du Seigneur (including Dieu Parmi Nous), Messe de la Pentecôte and Livre de Saint-Sacrement.
