Composers John Frederick Hudson and Jago Thornton discuss their JAM on the Marsh Festival Commissions with librettist Esme Lloyd and Paul Mealor.

OVERVIEW

John Frederick Hudson has written this year’s Festival Commission for tenor (Mark Padmore), horn (Ben Goldscheider), strings, piano and percussion. Jago Thornton was awarded a President’s Commission following his successful String Quartet in last year’s festival. His commission is for string orchestra. Join both composers and librettist Esme Lloyd as they discuss these important new works with Paul Mealor.
