MAX JAFFA’s VIOLIN

with Simon and Saoko Blendis

Simon and Saoko Blendis celebrate the music of Max Jaffa, one of the most popular musicians of his day. He was the pre-eminent light music violinist of his generation, a universally popular figure with a career spanning 70 years, famous as leader of the Palm Court Orchestra. Since 2000, Simon has been playing a wonderful violin that previously belonged to Jaffa, so this concert reunites the music with the violin that first performed it.
