Exhibitions
France Tetreault is obsessed by music. Her exhibition is three huge canvasses which document her reactions to three pieces of music from the festival: Messiaen’s Dieu Parmi Nous, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Debussy’s Prelude a l’apres-midi d’un faune.
Following last year’s stunning abstract exhibition, John Ballard returns with a series of oil paintings portraying the groins and water-breaks of the Romney Marsh beaches. These spectacular pictures are significant works of art, measuring 5’ x 4’ (1530mm x 1220mm), that are glorious to indulge in and spend time with.
Penny Graham returns with a new series of plates, platters and roundels, based on images of space from the Hubble and James Webb telescopes, and the International Space Station. The filmy nature of gas and the glory of galaxies have been fired to stoneware.
