JAZZ
The Band plays a range of big-band swing and blues numbers, ballads and film themes, with all solos being improvised. They will play a selection from their current repertoire, with several principal members of the band having featured solos. The Orchestra’s Director of Music is Tom Vafidis, who teaches at Ashford School and took over the reins from John Hall in September of 2017.

History
The ancient parish church of Hythe, St Leonard's has overlooked this historic Cinque Ports Town for nearly a thousand years. St Leonard's is also known as "the church with the bones," on account of its famous ossuary containing a large collection of human bones.
