Local photographer, Susan Pilcher, explores Romney Marsh by night using coloured lights, torches & steel wool to create breath-taking effects of orbs, steel wool spinning and light painting all under the stars of Romney Marsh.

Ruth is a professional artist currently living on the Kent Coast. She loves the desolation of Dungeness and the Marsh, with its immense skies and ever changing tide along the shores; sometimes braving tempests, to experience the exhilaration of nature.
Music is at the very centre of Kate Walters’ art, and here she brings a unique exhibition to the festival: she will ‘tune in’ to the roots of many of the mediaeval churches on Romney Marsh, and the music being performed in them.
Renowned photojournalist Justin Sutcliffe sees faces in random objects. He started to photograph these coincidences, initially on a Polaroid camera, and set himself parameters: the guiding principle was ‘nothing deliberate’.
